Katherine Brennan 

General Counsel

Katherine Brennan is general counsel of Marsh, a business of Marsh McLennan, and also a member of the Marsh executive committee. Prior to this role, Kate most recently served as Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer at Marsh McLennan and prior to that role served as the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at S&P Global Inc. From 2008 to 2015, Kate served in a number of leadership roles at Marsh McLennan, including General Counsel of Guy Carpenter, Senior Corporate Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Before initially joining Marsh McLennan in 2008, Kate was with the law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf in New York. Kate graduated with a BA from Duke University and received her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
