Marsh’s Salome Santos Selected as a Rising Star in the WeAreTheCity Awards

Congratulations to Salome Santos from FINPRO UK, who has just won the insurance category of the WeAreTheCity’s Rising Star Awards. This award recognises the work that Salome does within Marsh, supporting clients and colleagues, and also outside of the company, where she mentors and guides young professionals joining the insurance industry.

The Rising Star Awards were introduced to showcase the UK pipeline of female talent below management and create 100 female role models across different industries and professions.

Salome successfully overcame an unprecedented number of competitors and a high caliber of nominations to win the award. The awards were entered by 1,250 individuals and were judged by a panel of 33 independent judges. More than 35,000 public votes were received for the 200 shortlisted nominees.

Salome will be presented with her award at a formal event taking place in London Bridge on Wednesday 12 July.
