Marsh Named Number One Broker in the Insurance Times Top 50

The Insurance Times 2017 “Top 50 Brokers” list has ranked Marsh as the number one broker this year, up from second place in 2016. The rankings, announced in the Insurance Times, are considered in the industry to be the definitive list of the top UK-based insurance brokers. 

Marsh’s acquisition of Jelf at the beginning of 2016 and Bluefin in November 2016 added £171 million to Marsh’s revenue which has played an instrumental role in securing the leading position in this year’s ranking. With these acquisitions Marsh has claimed its place as both the leading UK SME broker and the top UK broker overall, and has also become the UK Top 50’s first ever £1 billion broker.
