Marsh Is a 2017 Business Insurance Innovation Award Winner

Marsh is honoured to be recognised by Business Insurance in its 2017 Innovation Awards for our Brexit insurance placement structure, known as Bridge.

Business Insurance’s Innovation Awards recognise leadership, inventiveness, and ingenuity in products and services designed for risk management professionals.

Launched in February 2017, in the wake of the 2016 UK vote to leave the European Union (EU), our Bridge solution preserves client choice and competition in the EU insurance markets through an innovative fronting structure that gives clients a “passport-free bridge” between UK insurers post-Brexit.

Leslie Kurshan, Leader of Innovative Client Solutions for Marsh’s UK Specialty Practice commented, “This is fantastic recognition of Marsh’s continuous efforts to develop solutions that directly respond to clients’ most pressing concerns.” Leslie developed the solution in partnership with Dan Hearsum, Head of Placement, Marsh’s UK Specialty Practice.
