Join us for Marsh’s 2020 Global Real Estate & Hospitality Conference. This conference provides an opportunity for Marsh’s real estate and hospitality risk professionals to meet with a range of industry leaders and insurers to discuss the latest trends and hot topics in risk management. With a wide variety of speakers on the agenda, the conference is designed to stimulate discussion and introduce participants to resources that may help them address emerging issues that could affect their risk management strategies.

Our 2020 conference, will bring together global industry leaders and key influencers online to discuss the complex and evolving risks faced by real estate and hospitality companies. Through presentations, panel debates, and roundtable sessions, our conference will provide insight into how leading real estate and hospitality companies are navigating evolving risk challenges and demonstrate how they should capitalize on risk and volatility to create growth.

In a constantly evolving world, one dominated by rapid change, our attendees can use this conference as a forum to consider and debate key areas of risk.

The 2020 Global Real Estate Conference will be held online for two-hour sessions on Oct. 14 (10 a.m. - noon) and Oct. 15 (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.; rountables 5 p.m.-5:30 p.m.) 

The agenda for Day 1 includes:

• Marsh CEO John Doyle and Lloyds CEO John Neal address how insurance compaines are adapting to the pandemic and what the future of the insurance industry might hold.

• Futurist Bart Higgins returns to the conference to discuss how the pandemic is transforming real estate now and in the future. At past conferences, he discussed how forward-thinking real estate companies were moving toward experienced-based properties. How do they pivot now that pandemic has curtailed social engagement?

• A panel of real estate investors will discuss how they view the market evolving in the post-pandemic world.

Day 2's agenda looks at macroeconomic and insurance market factors:

• Northwestern University professor of International Finance Sergio Rebelo will discuss what's next for the global economy. Ths perennial conference favorite mixes knowledge and humor to provide insight on what is driving global economic conditions.
• Understand what is happening with real estate insurance markets with a pair of panels on the property market and the casualty market.
•  Topic specific roundtables close out the conference. The roundtables topics are: Multifamily, Commercial/Industrial/Retail and Hospitality & Gaming.
