CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Hwee Hong is Senior Vice President and Head of the Insurance Department and is responsible for the insurance needs of a portfolio of 37 clients and 5 staff. Her primary duties include acting as the client contact, underwriting and claims functions.

EXPERIENCE

Hwee Hong joined Marsh in December 2006 after working with another insurance broking company in the areas of captive insurance management and risk management consulting for about 17 years.
During which, she acted as principal officer of the captive insurance companies under their management and was responsible for the efficient performance of the captives’ operations as well as all aspects of local regulatory compliance.

She has experience in conducting captive feasibility studies and compiling reinsurance submissions, board papers, budgets and cash-flow statements for the captive insurance companies under management.

Hwee Hong has also been involved in the administration of global and local insurance programs on behalf of client throughout the region and acts as a liaison between underwriters, insurance brokers and clients.
